Caught this on stream yesterday night, downloaded and played it. Superior graphics, however my computer could not handle it. I had to lower the resolution in order to play without having delay. No story telling, those of you who played the previous DOOM games would get a rough idea.
You will only get to try out the pistol and shotgun and also a chance to upgrade your shotgun. Demo shows the upgrading system for your weapons and armor, but only able to further upgrade if you buy the game. You will be killing demons throughout the demo and will be able to do `Glory kills' once you bring the demon health low enough. `Glory kills' are finisher moves. There are different kinds of glory kills depending on the direction you execute it. There is no sprint key, but there is a walk key. By default is already the running speed which is kinda slow. I was expecting a boss fight at the end but nope.Demo is about 30 minutes long, its being extended due to popular demand. The video below showcases gameplay but not really on graphics. Graphics in this video look kinda shitty because I alter it to 60% resolution for minimum choppiness. You will be amazed once you see 100% resolution, just brilliant!
I personally find the gameplay slightly slow, mainly due to the fact that i could not get the right sensitivity for my mouse. It just felt different and weird. I recommend 50% resolution and `medium' overall quality for better experience.
